Cleaning Specification

All materials and equipment to be supplied by contractor

Daily: Vacuum carpet in entrance lobby, generally "tidy-up"

Clean glass to front and rear entrances

 

Weekly: Vacuum carpets in lobbies to floors 1,2,3,4,5

Clean glass to Lobby walls and walkway entrances

          Wash floor in lift, (ensuring safety notice erected),wipe walls and doors at all floors

          Sweep/vacuum leaves and debris from carpark – particularly around waste bins -and external ground floor walkways (including around medical centre) (probably only needed in autumn and spring)

           

          Monthly: Sweep and wash stairs in fire escape; wipe walls and doors, wipe over lights in walkways, stairs and lobbies;

          Pleas ensure that safety notices erected

           

          Brush out cycle store

           

          As&when: Walkways- brush any pooling of water into down-pipe inlet on the top walkways

          Advise Dr Higson or Mr Powell of any damage or lightbulb failures & report any problems mentioned by residents

          Equipment likely to be required:

          Industrial vacuum

          Mop & bucket

          Soft brush – long handled

          Hard-bristle brush

          Dustpan and brush

          Cleaning cloths

          Warning sign- "cleaning in progress/ wetfloor"

          Glass cleaner

          Hardsurface cleaner

          Floor cleaner

          Waste bags

           

          Estimated time/calendar month= 37.5hours
