Electricians will be working around the building from next week (we hope) to install wiring and detectors for the communal area fire detection and alert system. This will cause minimal disruption to flats but you may find wires and workmen around the lobby areas and stairwell occasionally. Please take care.

The fire system is designed to detect fires in the common areas and will also provide "FIRE CALL POINTS" for use by residents to alert all others in the block to a fire.

We have removed the cabinets from the front lobby as they served no use. Regrettably on removing the wallpaper in order to re-decorate all the plaster lifter from the wall. This will be replastered next week and then the front lobby will be redecorated. Again, apologies for any disruption – please take care when there are workmen in the area

We now have two additional BLUE bins for collecting GLASS BOTTLES and clean METAL CANS. This is in addition to the green recycle bin for PAPER.

It will help everyone and the environment if residents can use these bins appropriately.

We have sited these apart from the other waste bins to encourage their use and also to aid the "turning circle" at the entrance to the car park

We have recently had a CCTV survey of all the drains undertaken – this has shown some cracks present which we are arranging to have repaired. One drain was penetrated by a gas pipe and that is in the process of being sorted-out - please be careful when walking in the front garden that you don’t fall down any hole!
